ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chauhary Fawad Hussain said that the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf government believed in promotion of local and regional languages, which were the beauty of Pakistan’s heterogeneous culture.
The minister, in his message on the occasion of launching programmes in Balochi languages from Radio Pakistan Multan, said it was a good step of Radio Pakistan to promote native languages and he appreciated that.
Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, he said, would soon inaugurate launch of the series of Balochi programmes from Radio Pakistan Multan, which would be a gift to the Balochi people.
The Balochi language was one of the beautiful languages spoken across Pakistan, he added.
Fawad said airing of programmes in national, international and local languages made Radio Pakistan distinct among other media organizations.
The 2018 Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) annual conference is scheduled for April 8 to 11 in Boao, Hainan Province. The forum will be themed "An Open and Innovative Asia for a World of Greater Prosperity."
