The trailer of Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Manikarnika – The Queen Of Jhansi’ is out, giving us a glimpse into the world of queen of Jhansi, showing Kangana as the fierce Rani Laxmibai.
The 3 minute 20 seconds trailer is bound to get you hooked as it certainly is a visual treat. The trailer gives glimpses of Manikarnika’s warrior skills and her efficiency with the sword. The Britishers are the enemy here and the trailer repeats that over and over again.
Kangana is not only convincing but also very impressive with her powerful performance of portrayal of the warrior queen.
This was not an easy journey for Kangana as the movie has been facing several issues ever since its inception. The entire team of the film faced various delay in shoots and also saw actors walking out of the film midway. There were also reports that the film budget also exceeded by the huge margin.
Meanwhile, actor Andy Von Eich, who plays one of the British officers in the film, recently alleged that he is yet to be paid in full for his performance in the period drama by the production house. “Today Manikarnika trailer released. I still haven’t received full payment for my acting in this movie by the production house. I can’t imagine that this is in the sense of Kangana Ranaut if she would know about that. Please help. Manikarnika trailer launch #zee #karios,” the actor, who hails from Germany, tweeted.
Kangana has been credited as the co-director of the film along with Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi. It will hit theatres on January 25, 2019.
