Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications has announced three major projects to be implemented in the Year of Support for Active Entrepreneurship, Innovative Ideas and Technologies. The schemes seek to promote encouraging business climate.
In concert with Prosecutor General’s Office, the Ministry has been entrusted to elaborate and put into action a special electronic information system that provides for constant introduction of essential data about the inspections, monitoring and measures taken to eliminate the identified violations in the activities of business entities.
Together with the local government, it was entrusted to ensure the introduction of an electronic queue and remote video surveillance system for the provision of public services, organization of mobile public service centers in remote settlements, and supply of public services through mobile communications.
As a specially authorized government body in the field of electronic commerce, the Ministry will work to formulate and implement state programs, develop and approve standards, norms and rules in the field of online commerce, take measures to protect the rights and legitimate interests of e-commerce participants, improve legislation on the sector and ensure its execution, arrangement of research and monitoring in the field of electronic commerce.
The 2018 Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) annual conference is scheduled for April 8 to 11 in Boao, Hainan Province. The forum will be themed "An Open and Innovative Asia for a World of Greater Prosperity."
