ISLAMABAD: Minister for Defence Production Rana Tanveer Hussain said that Pakistan valued its relations with Ukraine and believed that with the passage of time both the countries would develop meaningful and long term relationship through enhanced bilateral cooperation.
The minister expressed these views during a meeting with Director General M/s UKRSPECEXPORT Pavlo Bukin and Director General State Enterprises Malyshev Plant of Ukraine Olaksander Khlan.
Ukrspetseksport Malyshev Plant is a state-owned manufacturer of heavy equipment in Kharkiv, Ukraine. It was named after the Soviet politician Vyacheslav Malyshev.
The factory is part of the State Concern UkrOboronProm (Ukrainian Defense Industry). Rana Tanveer expressed Pakistan’s keen desire to consolidate existing relations with the Ukraine in all sectors, particularly in trade, economy, defense, culture, science and technology. He appreciated Pakistan-Ukraine’s existing cooperation in the defence production.
The 2018 Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) annual conference is scheduled for April 8 to 11 in Boao, Hainan Province. The forum will be themed "An Open and Innovative Asia for a World of Greater Prosperity."
