The Global Big Data Exchange (GBDE) based in southwest China’s Guizhou Province has partnered with the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) in commercial data module development.
The GBDE, the first of its kind in the world, started operations in April 2015. Headquartered in Guiyang, capital of Guizhou, the GBDE also has two operation centers in Beijing and Shanghai, as well as 11 transaction service centers across China.
Its tradable data capacity has exceeded 150 petabytes. Over 1,500 enterprises and companies have registered as members to exchange and trade data-related assets and services.
The 2018 Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) annual conference is scheduled for April 8 to 11 in Boao, Hainan Province. The forum will be themed "An Open and Innovative Asia for a World of Greater Prosperity."
