President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree “On measures to radically improve the management of the preschool education system” on 30 September.
According to the decree, the Ministry of preschool education is created in Uzbekistan. The new ministry will develop and implement a unified state policy in the field of pre-school education.
The structure of the ministry will include the Ministry of Preschool Education of Karakalpakstan, the Central Department of Preschool Education in Tashkent, the Departments of Preschool Education of the regions and their departments in cities and districts.
The Ministry will gradually ensure full coverage of children with preschool education by creating a network of competing state and non-state preschool institutions in the country.
The Ministry of Preschool Education will introduce alternative forms of preschool education and upbringing of children. All state preschool institutions will be transferred to the system of the new ministry.
Uzbek President instructed to adopt a comprehensive program to create additional state and non-state preschool institutions in the regions of Uzbekistan, designed for 50, 70, 100, 120 and 150 seats.
The 2018 Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) annual conference is scheduled for April 8 to 11 in Boao, Hainan Province. The forum will be themed "An Open and Innovative Asia for a World of Greater Prosperity."
