ISLAMABAD: Secretary Planning Shoaib Siddiqui has told Public Accounts Committee (PAC) that not a single hospital has been constructed in the four year tenure of Nawaz Sharif adding Nawaz had announced construction of 40 hospitals among them only 15 hospitals in different districts of country are under construction and their early completion looks impossible.
It was also told PAC that development projects of Rs 4800 billion are under completion while government annual development budget is Rs 1000 billion.
PAC meeting was held in parliament house under Khursheed Shah at which planning ministry gave briefing on increasing cost of annual development projects and women hospital in Rawalpindi.
PAC maintained that government development budget system has been failed completely.
