Bollywood upcoming movie ‘Jagga Jasoos’ is a much anticipated movie as it stars Bollywood’s ex-couple, Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif but the movie has recently gathered some bad publicity after chopping off Indian actor Govinda’s scenes.
The ‘Hero No.1’ from the 90’s era is not happy about the fact that his scenes were edited out of the movie. In a series of tweets Govinda show his dismay over the whole incident.
When Ranbir was asked about the matter, the actor acknowledged the fact and considered the whole incident a huge mistake. Owning up to the situation, the actor said, “Unfortunately the entire track has been chopped off; it is our fault, Basu, and mine. We had started this film very prematurely, without a complete script. The character had completely changed, and the film was taking so long,” Indian express reported.
Ranbir further added, “It is very irresponsible and very unfair to cast a great legend like Govinda and not give justice to his role. It is very unfortunate the way things panned out. We are apologetic, but it is for the best for the film that we had to cut that track out.”
‘Jagga Jasoos’ is all set to release on July 14, regardless of all the controversies it has faced till date.
