MUZAFFARABAD: Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) government has entered in a contract with renowned cricket club Lahore Qalandars to trained young cricketers and launch a talent hunting drive.
Chief Executive of Lahore Qalandars Rana Atif and renowned test cricketer Aaqib Javaid met Prime Minister Azad Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider Khan and discussed various measures to boost cricket in the area.
Sports Department in collaboration with Lahore Qalandars would organize a National level tournament in Azad Kashmir in September to provide opportunity to young local cricketers of showing their talent and skill.
Aaqib Javaid told Prime Minister that their club would bring famous national cricketers to Muzaffarabad so that the local talented youth could learn from them besides launching talent hunt drive in all the ten districts of Azad Kashmir.
