KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Senator Aitzaz Ahsan called for making video recording of Panama case joint investigation team (JIT) proceedings public.
Ahsan said the Panama case probe team will continue to face allegations as long as the video recording isn’t made public. He said that he does not think the investigators would have been rude to PM’s children.
The PPP lawmaker said that bringing forth the recording will also help reveal truth about Sharif family’s allegations against the investigation team.
Accusing government of staging a drama over JIT matter, he said, “If Sharif family had answers to investigators’ question, they would have given them in April 2016”.
Ahsan maintained the government has been threatening the team of investigators.
The 2018 Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) annual conference is scheduled for April 8 to 11 in Boao, Hainan Province. The forum will be themed "An Open and Innovative Asia for a World of Greater Prosperity."
