BEIJING: China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said that Pakistan stands on the frontline in the war on terror and the international community must appreciate Pakistan`s role.
“The international community must appreciate Pakistan`s role in the war against terror,” said the ministry and added that “it is wrong to associate terrorism with few countries”.
Beijing also emphasised that increased cooperation is required in the war against terrorism and reiterated that China denounces all forms and kinds of terrorism
India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a meeting with President Trump had earlier called on all nations to resolve territorial and maritime disputes peacefully and in accordance with international law.
“Both our nations have been struck by the evils of terrorism, and we are both determined to destroy terrorist organisations and the radical ideology that drives them. We will destroy radical Islamic terrorism. Our militaries are working every day to enhance cooperation between our military forces. And next month, they will join together with the Japanese navy to take plart in the largest maritime exercise ever conducted in the vast Indian Ocean,” said Trump.
