ISLAMABAD: The Kohsar police have registered an FIR against a Pakistani businessman on the complaint of two Chinese nationals who were assaulted among four people in Sector F-7, Islamabad, on Tuesday.
Liu Xiaolong registered a complaint against a businessman, Ishtiaq. He told the police that he gave Ishtiaq Rs1 million to build a guesthouse but the latter turned out to be a fraudster.
According to the police, eight unidentified men barged into their flat and tortured the four people, including the Chinese nationals, over registration of the FIR. The suspects fled after allegedly looting cash along with the travel documents of the victims.
The Chinese nationals have demanded of the interior minister to provide them security.
