China Update with CRI
A ceremony was held on Monday in Incheon, South Korea, to return the remains of 28 Chinese soldiers killed in the 1950-1953 Korean War.
The remains were unearthed between March and November last year.
A delegation headed by the Military Attache of the Chinese Embassy in South Korea mourned and paid tribute to the deceased soldiers.
The handover is scheduled for Wednesday at the Incheon International Airport. The Chinese Air Force will fly them home.
Under the terms of a 2013 agreement, Seoul has so far returned the remains of 541 Chinese soldiers in three batches. – CRI
