ISLAMABAD: Rangers’ powers have on Monday been extended for another 30 days in Sindh. The notification was issued earlier today by Interior Ministry.
According to Interior Ministry spokesperson, the extension has been given and will be implemented from Tuesday. Rangers have been given these powers under Anti-Terrorism Act 1997, Section 4, Sub-section 3, clause (1).
Interior Ministry spokesperson expressed satisfaction over resolution of the issue this time without any hiccups.
