LAHORE: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid Saturday said that the political adventures of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Pakistan Awami Tehreek have caused loss worth billions of rupees to the country besides loss of precious lives.
Talking to media in Lahore on Saturday night, he said that in Lahore suffered four billion rupees loss in the daily business. He said City District Government of Rawalpindi has incurred an amount of five million rupees on the security arrangements.
He said suspension of metro service in Rawalpindi-Islamabad suffered one million rupees loss. He said billions of rupees have been incurred on the police deployment on both the places.
The information minister said both the parties were asked to arrange their processions at isolated places to avoid the hindrance and problems in the daily life of the people.
He said that PML-N and PPP have taken practical steps for legislation for inquiry into the corruption cases.
