ISLAMABAD: Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Monday ordered to arrest Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) leader Dr Tahirul Qadri and to present them in the court on September 26 as both were involved in the case regarding the attacks on Pakistan Television (PTV) building and Parliament house in 2014.
The case was heard by the ATC judge Syed Kausar Abbas. PTI Chairman Imran Khan and PAT leader Tahirul Qadri could not be presented in the court despite the issuance of their arrest warrants.
The court maintained the arrest warrants of the leaders of both political parties and ordered to present them in the next hearing of the case after arresting them.
The 2018 Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) annual conference is scheduled for April 8 to 11 in Boao, Hainan Province. The forum will be themed "An Open and Innovative Asia for a World of Greater Prosperity."
