ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali on Thursday remarked that ‘RAW’ and ‘Taliban’ agents are being recruited in the guise of security guards.
Justice Jamali gave these remarks while hearing the case pertaining to implementation of Karachi law and order at Supreme Court Karachi registry.
Expressing dismay over Quetta hospital carnage, the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) directed Sindh Inspector General (IG) to ensure special security arrangements at the hospitals and other locations.
Quetta tragedy occurred due to inadequate security arrangements, he said.
Justice Jamali further stated that ‘RAW’ and ‘Taliban’ agents are being inducted in the guise of security guards. These people are being recruited on fake ID cards.
It is police’s duty to keep an eye on security guards’ recruitment, he said adding that there will be no compromise on this matter.
Meanwhile, the Inspector General of Sindh Police and Chief Secretary briefed the apex court on the security situation.
Sindh IG told court that the concerned authorities are reviewing the matter of security guards’ training.
Subsequently, the case hearing was adjourned for a month.
