LAHORE: The high prices in bazaars organized for Ramazan in various cities including Lahore have badly irked local residents, reported on Sunday.
According to details, Ramazan bazaars are being arranged for the relief of the people but hiked prices in these markets have badly disappointed the citizens.
The shopkeepers are taking prices according to their own will while no check and balance has been ensured by the concerned departments in this regard.
The vegetables and other food items are unapproachable for general masses.
On the other hand, markets in Multan are lacking stalls while the items available there are also substandard. The enraged natives have criticized the government and demanded to look into the matter.
