ISLAMABAD: Pakistan faced immense political crises in the wake of Panama Leaks after which a parliamentary committee had been formed with government and Oppositions mutual consent, the very committee held its first setting where procedure to form Terms of References (TOR)s has been discussed.
The meeting was held at Parliament house. Government and Opposition seemed disagreed over 2 points, committee operations were also discussed including other agendas.
The opposition raised questions over Minister for Law and Justice Zahid Hamids appointment as an ex-official member of the joint committee. Opposition leaders also claimed that supervisor of the committee has not be decided due to 2 strong candidates in the committee.
Both Opposition and government exchanged views over proposed TORs while the government has replied to Chief Justice (CJ) with a letter refferred to the opposition.
