ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Monday announced to initiate a movement against the government in regards to the Panama Leaks.
While addressing the media after a meeting, Khan stated that the intra-party elections of PTI have been postponed as the entire focus is upon the movement against the Panama Leaks. Khan invited labourers, members of civil society and judiciary to take part in his movement, adding that “this is a golden opportunity to wipe out corruption from the country”.
PTI chief added that if the people do not protest against corruption then the rulers will keep looting the country. He said that the Panama Leaks does not cater to a certain party but is a national issue.
He stated that he will try to add more parties in the Raiwind March to make it a success.
He stated that PTI is going to organise a “huge show” on April 24, adding that “we shall see till April 24 if the government makes a commission under the Chief Justice or not”.
