KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Dr. Farooq Sattar responded to Pak Sarzameen Party’s (PSP) chief Mustafa Kamal’s statements saying that it has become known to all about what a particular group of people is trying to do under the veil of politics for the past one month.
While addressing a press conference on Friday evening held at Khurshid Begum Secretariat, Dr. Farooq Sattar stated that both MQM and Kamal’s party are playing on the same field thus Kamal should let both parties play equally otherwise the referee will show both of them a yellow card.
He said that since Kamal has not been able to “pick up wickets” for his party, he is now provoking the people through his speeches.
He added that those who boarded on the “tanga” (horse cart) party supported by certain elements of the establishment, headed towards Hyderabad after being rejected by the people of Karachi. He stated that those involved in corruption and china-cutting are pointing fingers towards MQM.
Sattar said that his party always responded to the offensive language used by its adversaries against MQM in a civilsed and polite manner.
