ISLAMABAD: Reacting very savagely to the arrest of its serving officer from Balochistan by Pakistani intelligence officials, Indian intelligence agency, Research & Analysis Wing (RAW) has unleashed multifaceted attacks including its traditional terror blitz via suicide bombers and with improvised violence through sectarian groups with its paid pawns being present in those groups.
In the fresh wave of violence and terror that is being described as security experts and counter-terror specialist as ‘lethal revenge’ by RAW over arrest of its serving field operator by ISI from Balochistan which has put both RAW and Indian government in acute state of embarrassment across the world and humiliated top Indian intelligence agency in front of its Pakistani arch rival, was planned soon after Pakistan announced the arrest of serving RAW officer from Balochistan province that has become the hub of RAW-backed terrorism. The decision to execute the plan of unleashing the sectarian violence and routine terrorism was made soon after Pakistani authorities started leaking some of the confessions that the arrested RAW man had made before the interrogators.
Under this plan, Junaid Jamshed, a famous pop singer of the past and a religious scholar of a particular sect today, was picked as the first target to generate sectarian violence. The experts say that it was not an isolated incident that some people saw Junaid jamshed randomly at the airport and decided to thrash him as Junaid Jamshed was not in any hiding and was frequently travelling here and there and was living a routine life and was not facing a shoot at sight or thrash at sight like situation by any means. It was just that someone was tracking his movement through certain technical means and informed the field operators about his location and the place selected was the outer lounge of the airport where there was almost no arrangements for the physical security visitors but it was a place where, if such incident is staged, could get enough coverage in media and the news could travel all over within minutes. Experts say that this incident needs to be investigated comprehensively. It remains a fact that the arrested RAW officer has admitted that RAW was using such devices and systems to track locations of required people through their mobile phones etc.
As the RAW officer, Commander Kulbhoshan Jhadev, had informed the interrogators that RAW has been funding certain heads of religious seminaries of different sects via Iran and Afghanistan for spreading sectarian hatred and to brainwash handpicked seminary student to become suicide bombers and killers in the name of the religion and that RAW had its pawns in different religious sects across Pakistan while many seminaries were considered as sleeper cells by RAW bosses, a student of a particular seminary of Lahore, who was living in Lahore for past one decade or so, was picked for a suicide attack in Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park in the city. It is worth mentioning here that this time it was not possible for RAW to organize a suicide bomber from Waziristan area to Lahore as army’s Operation Zarb-e-Azb has eliminated all such possibilities to maximum, a local resident was used.
Again, keeping in view, the confessions of arrested RAW officer, some strangers were pushed into a procession at Rawalpindi. According to local leaders of the procession by a religious sect who had organized the procession, they did not know anything about the stranger violent mobsters who joined the procession from nowhere. The locals say they had no plans of any violence and also had no plan to stage a march towards Islamabad but the strangers, who had come from unknown origins, turned the peaceful procession into a violent mob and led the rally to violence and sabotage.
According to certain reports, Pakistani government was set to show the confessional video of the arrested RAW officers while it is also being said that it was planned to show the arrested RSAW man to the local and international media at a special press conference in Islamabad on Sunday and perhaps that was why RAW decided to execute the fresh terror-violence plan with aim to overshadow the said proposed press conference and to keep global media attention on rather major events in Pakistan. However the said press conference, if there was one, was not at held, either as a smart move to counter RAW plans or perhaps there was no such event formally planned.
