ISLAMABAD: Information Minister Pervaiz Rasheed on Wednesday has said that Pakistan’s sacrifices against terrorism are unprecedented.
While talking to media in a seminar related to the relations between police and public, Pervaiz Rasheed said that law and order situation is now better than before.
He stated that it is the beauty of democracy that people get an opportunity to say what they want.
On a question, he replied that Sarfraz Merchant has agreed to submit his statement to Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).
While talking about Women Protection Bill, he said that the government is reviewing the anti-Islam clauses and has sought assistance from the Ulemas in this regard.
Pervaiz Rasheed reiterated that they want to give a peaceful Pakistan to their children and want tranquility in the region including Afghanistan.
