LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday contacted Jamiat Ulema Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman and discussed his reservations regarding the Women’s Protection Bill.
Shehbaz assured Fazl that changes will be introduced in the Bill to make it better and acceptable for all.
Fazl stated that any kind of response will be provided after the meeting of the leadership of the religious parties of the country, which is to be held on March 15.
JUI-F chief also said that instead of clarifying any reservations, the complete Bill must be declared null and void.
