RIYADH: Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif attended the closing parade of Thunder of North Saudi military exercises on Friday while Pakistani fighter jets and Special Services Group (SSG) troops also performed in the exercises.
Ending parade of Saudi Arabia’s Thunder of North military exercise was held in King Khalid City. Along with PM Nawaz, COAS and Saudi rulers, leaders of 21 other countries also attended the parade.
Pakistan Army played a key role during the closing parade of military exercises in a sense that only Pakistani fighter jets performed in the air exercises. Pakistan s JF-17 Thunder aircraft and lion-heart-formation team performed aerobatics in the air.
The world-renowned Pakistani commando unit SSG troops proved their excellent skills by plunging to the ground from air.
