ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday has said mutual cooperation between Pakistan and India can lead to socio-economic uplift of the two countries.
He was talking to Indian High Commissioner to Pakistan Gautam Bambawale in Islamabad.
PM Nawaz said Pakistan is pursuing policy of good relations with neighbouring countries including India.
The premier extended a very warm welcome to the Indian High Commissioner.
He expressed the confidence that Gautam Bambawale will work to bring the two countries closer.
The Indian High Commissioner thanked PM Nawaz for warm welcome and expressed hope that his role will be beneficial in strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
