ISLAMABAD: Interior Ministry sources on Sunday have stated that suspect Moazzam Ali is being seen as the prime suspect in the murder case of slain Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Dr. Imran Farooq and provided all facilities and finances to the victim’s assassins. Sources say that Ali transferred 6000 GBP into the accounts of both killers.
According to the sources, significant developments into the case are expected within a week’s time.
Discussion will also be held between Pakistan and Britain regarding the custody of the suspects.
Dr. Imran Farooq was attacked and murdered near his home in North London on 16th September 2010. Top MQM leadership has been accused of plotting the murder and investigation into case still continues.
The 2018 Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) annual conference is scheduled for April 8 to 11 in Boao, Hainan Province. The forum will be themed "An Open and Innovative Asia for a World of Greater Prosperity."
