MUZAFFARABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Friday said Kashmir issue was a test for current leadership of Pakistan and India and people of both the countries could not prosper and progress, until the lingering issue was resolved.
The Prime Minister was speaking at the joint session of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly and Kashmir Council, in connection with the Kashmir Solidarity Day here Friday.
Expressing optimism on initiation of bilateral dialogue process in the days ahead, PM Nawaz said resolution of all issues lies in mutual dialogue, adding that both India and Pakistan would have to think about the well-being and progress of their peoples.
The Premier went on to say that it is the matter of UN’s authority and prestige to solve the issue of Kashmir according to its resolutions.
The 2018 Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) annual conference is scheduled for April 8 to 11 in Boao, Hainan Province. The forum will be themed "An Open and Innovative Asia for a World of Greater Prosperity."
