KARACHI: Sindh Rangers DG Major General Bilal Akbar has on Friday assured that the inquiry into the firing incident at Pakistan International Airline (PIA) employees’ protest rally, and the subsequent deaths of employees, will be transparent.
In a meeting with 3-member delegation of the Joint Action Committee at Karachi Rangers headquarters, Bilal Akbar said that the inquiry into the firing incident would be transparent. The delegation was led by Joint Action Committee leader Suhail Baloch.
The Rangers DG assured the delegation of transparent and just inquiry into the matter. He said that strong action will be taken against whoever found guilty in the incident.
Sources told media that Rangers officials will also visit the families of the deceased.
