QUETTA: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Tuesday said that terrorists are getting funding from outside and support from inside the country. He was addressing a seminar on Peace and prosperity in Quetta.
According to the details, General Raheel Sharif said that peace has been restored in Balochistan due to the sacrifices of security forces. The operation Zarb-e-Azb would continue till elimination of last terrorist, added COAS. He furthur said that China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will prove to be a game changer for Pakistan.
COAS said that securing the borders of Pakistan is their priority. He added that government institutions cannot work without people s support.
Raheel Sharif further said that the Army is providing 25,000 children with educational facilities in Balochistan, while 18,000 Baloch youth have joined Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps (FC) in Balochistan.
The future of Balochistan and Pakistan is bright, said army chief. He added that FW is constructing 632 roads in Balochistan and he has ordered the FW to not cease or slow down the work in any case.
