ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) Chief Justice is going to form a new bench in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) foreign funding case. IHC’s 2-member bench forwarded the matter of forming new bench upon PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s request.
According to details, Imran Khan had filed a petition against the decision by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) in PTI’s foreign funding case. The petition was heard by IHC’s Justice Noor ul-Haq Qureshi and Justice Aamir Farooq. IHC’s 2-member bench has referred the case to IHC Chief Justice.
Talking to media outside IHC after the hearing of the case, Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leader Daniyal Aziz said that those who used to taunt PML-N about stay orders, are hiding behind a stay order today. “There is one law for PML-N and another for the rest of the parties”, he said.
