ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Foreign Advisor Sartah Aziz has on Monday held the United States (US) and its policies for the instability in the region. He said that Islamic State (IS) is also a byproduct of American policies.
In a rare outburst against Pakistan’s longstanding ally, Sartaj Aziz held the US responsible for instability in the region. He said that the US policies were the main reason behind the creation of IS. He said that the concern shown by the US president is in complete contradiction with the realities on ground.
While commenting on Obama’s anti-Pakistan address, Foreign Advisor said in the Senate today that the US president should learn before going home today about the role played by his countries and allies in destabilizing the country. He said that the US indirectly supported the terrorists in the past and had to change the policy only when the same terrorists turned against them.
Foreign Advisor said that the ‘holy warriors’ were given shelter in Pakistan during the Afghan War. “Pakistan has decided that it will not fight anyone’s war anymore”, said Aziz.
Sartaj Aziz added that 90% of the targets of National Action Plan have been achieved. He said that Obama’s predictions will prove wrong if Pakistanis stand united.
