LAHORE: Hurriyet Conference leader Syed Ali Gillani has on Tuesday said that India is itself a terrorist state. He said that Kashmiris are not terrorists. “Kashmiris’ struggle is centered on self determination only”, he said. He added that India must read the writing on the wall and resolve Kashmir issue.
Talking to media from Srinagar on Kashmir’s Right of Self-Determination Day, Ali Gillani said that incidents like Pathankot would never help resolve Kashmir issue. He said that Pakistan-India dialogue is nothing but a waste of time. He said that there is no hope for Kashmir issue to be resolved through these talks.
Gillani said that it is the Indian state that is committing the acts of terrorism in the valley, not the Kashmiris.
Hurriyet leader said that the international community’s role in Kashmir issue isn’t hidden from anyone. He advised Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to not pin his hopes in his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi.
