HYDERABAD: Sindh Information Advisor Moula Bakhsh Chandio has on Saturday said that whenever Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif came into power, he started the politics of persecution.
Holding a press conference at a private educational institution, Chandio said that Sindh government is ready for accountability, but not revenge. He said that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) believes in dialogue with the federal government, not in conflict.
Chandio said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan confessed a Taliban leader was treated at his hospital but no action was taken against him. He added that every facilitator of the terrorists should be arrested.
“Former President Asif Ali Zardari did not leave the country to hide somewhere. He will be back when his health allows him to”, said Chandio.
Talking to media, Rashid said that hundreds of thousands of Pakistanis are being allowed to enter the tax net voluntarily under tax amnesty scheme if they haven’t filed the returns. He said that putting these people behind the bars would have created problems as it’d have given an impression that businessmen were being targeted in Pakistan. He said that the bill will help the government increase its resources.
Talking about Rangers’ powers in Sindh, Information Minister said that Rangers are doing their job in Sindh while Sindh government is cooperating with them. He said that the matters with Sindh government were running smoothly.
