RAWALPINDI: A hotline has been established for contact between Pakistan and Afghanistan Directors General for Military Operations (DGMOs) and the first contact in this regard was made on Wednesday.
In a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), it was stated that a hotline has been established between the DGMOs of both countries.
The decision to establish the hotline was made during Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif’s visit to Afghanistan.
As per ISPR, the DGMOs of both countries exchanged views on military related matters of both countries. They also discussed meeting of Corps Commanders of both sides and improving on-border relations.
