ISLAMABAD-Chinese Foreign Ministry has welcomed the development that took place by the unplanned meeting of Pakistani Prime Minister and his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi at Lahore on Friday.
‘The Chinese side has noticed the relevant reports, and welcomes the latest development of the Pakistan-India relationship, said Lu Kang, the Spokesperson of China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs while responding a question over the subject. ‘ Pakistan and India are important countries in South Asia. The improvement of Pakistan-India relationship is significant to regional peace, stability and development. As the common neighbor and friend of Pakistan and India, China is happy to see and will, as always, support Pakistan and India enhance mutual trust and achieve common development through continuous dialogue’, said the Spokesperson.
