ISLAMABAD: Pakistan-Norway Association (PANA) and Mr. Atle Hetland (Social Scientist) organized an event “Christmas Season for All” at a local hotel. Recently appointed Norwegian Ambassador H.E Tore Nedrebø was chief guest and other prominent personalities were also present at the occasion.
Speaking at the occasion, Norwegian Ambassador Tore Nedrebø vowed to improve to relation between Pakistan and Norway. “There is a great influx of refugees in Norway and we have to take care of refugees so next year our aid budget for Pakistan will be less, “the Ambassador said.
He further said that as part of the massive European immigration and refugee crisis, a huge number of refugees including Pakistanis had applied for residence in Norway. “However, most of them are being sent back to the countries of their origin if that country is to be considered as safe, such as Russia”, said Tore Nedrebø.
