HALA: Opposition leader in the National Assembly, Syed Khursheed Shah on Sunday said the actual authority does not lie with the Rangers but it lies with the law.
“The decision on granting extension to Sindh Rangers will be made by Chief Minister Sindh,” he said while talking to media persons here at a Chehlum and Fateha Khawani program for the deceased Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Makhdoom Amin Faheem.
PPP Chairman, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and other central leaders of the party were also in attendance.
Khursheed Shah said the party will decide on giving a ticket for National Assembly seat to the family of Makhdoom Amin Faheem.
He said Pakistan Muslim League-N has emerged as number one party in the Punjab and PPP as a runner up.
The Opposition leader asserted that no one’s act should affect the ongoing Operation Zarb-e-Azb.
He said by arresting five, ten politicians will do more harm than good to the state.
