MIANWALI: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan led a rally in Punjab’s Mianwali district on Friday to gain support of voters ahead of the second phase of local government (LG) elections in Punjab and Sindh scheduled to take place on Nov 19.
Meanwhile, four people were injured in the roof collapse of a house where PTI supporters had gathered to watch the address of their party leader.
The collapse occurred in the vicinity of the PTI rally and supporters, who were attending the rally, reached the site to rescue those trapped under the debris.
The wounded were shifted to District headquarters Hospital Mianwali.
Earlier addressing a rally in his hometown of Mianwali, Imran Khan asked his supporters to gear up for the upcoming LG polls. He also appealed to the voters to caste their vote in favour of PTI.
