Addressing Pakistan Investment Conference here Wednesday, Nawaz Sharif said, “Elimination of terrorism, economic development, energy and provision of education and health facilities are among the basis points of government policy and the people have reposed their trust in it.”
The Premier went on to say that some hard decisions were taken for the progress and prosperity of the country, adding that the government had achieved major goals during the past two-and-a-half-year.
He said power projects are being established in coal, gas, solar and wind to end the power outages by 2017. In addition, the government is also working on several hydel projects.
“Twenty five industrial zones around the three routes of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project are being established which will provide thousands of job opportunities to the youth,” said PM Nawaz.
The 2018 Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) annual conference is scheduled for April 8 to 11 in Boao, Hainan Province. The forum will be themed "An Open and Innovative Asia for a World of Greater Prosperity."
