Islamabad—Capital Development Authority’s management has directed all the concerned formations to ensure cleanliness and provide allied facilities in the graveyards. These facilities include provision of water, shelter and clear earmarking of the graves for those who come in a large number on Moharram 9 and 10 to offer prayers for the departed souls.
Directorate of Municipal Administration of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has been directed to ensure these facilities to the people visiting the graveyards on the eve of Muharram-ul-Haram.
Member Administration, Amer Ali Ahmed issued these directions during his visit to the graveyards in Sector H-8 and H-11 here today.
Member Administration, Amer Ali Ahmed directed the concerned formations of the Authority for proper cleanliness and removal of wild bushes and shrubs in the graveyards.
He said that every year, during the month of Muharram-ul-Haram, a large number of people visit the graveyards for offering Fatihakhwani at the graves of their loved ones. He directed the concerned formations of the Authority to fulfill their responsibilities and keep the graveyards in neat and tidy conditions for the convenience of the visitors. Member Administration, Amer Ali Ahmed further directed to ensure availability of water, provision of Qura’an and other Islamic books in the graveyards. He also directed for availability of fresh petals of flowers at different stalls in large quantity.
Member Administration, Amer Ali Ahmed directed the concerned formations to ensure proper cleanliness and removal of shrubs and wild grass, particularly on the occasion of 9th and 10th Muharram-ul-Haram and depute the staff for the guidance of the visitors in the graveyards.
The 2018 Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) annual conference is scheduled for April 8 to 11 in Boao, Hainan Province. The forum will be themed "An Open and Innovative Asia for a World of Greater Prosperity."
