MUZAFFARABAD: The 12th death anniversary of a prominent Kashmir leader and founding president of AJK Sardar Muhammad Ibrahim Khan was observed on Friday in all over Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Quran and Fateh Kawani was held for the departed soul of great Kashmiri leader at his Mazar at Kote Mate Khan in Rawalakot.
Special functions and seminars were held all over the state to pay tribute to the late Kashmiri leader. It was a closed holiday in Azad Kashmir.
In State capital, Muzaffarabad a function was held under the auspices of Kashmir Liberation Cell at Central Press club.
Addressing the function AJK Minister for Information Sardar Abid Hussain Abid said that Kashmirs had linked their destiny with Pakistan before its creation on 19th July 1947 at the residence of Ghazi e Milat Sardar Muhammd Ibrahim Khan in Srinagar. He said Kashmiris are rending unparalleled sacrifices to achieve this goal.
Speakers on this occasion reiterated that Kashmiris will continue their struggle for the liberation of their motherland from Indian clutches and accession of the whole state to Pakistan.
Special prayers were also held for the solidarity, integrity of Pakistan and early liberation of occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
People from all walks of life pay homage to the legendary leader for his matchless services rendered for Kashmir freedom struggle and development of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
