UFA: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday said that Pakistan is fighting the war against terrorism not only for regional stability but for peace all across the world.
He said Pakistan had to pay a hefty price for fighting the terror war. However, he added that the loss of life and property will not deter Pakistan from taking this war to its logical end.
Sharing his government’s vision for Pakistan’s long development, the premier said it is indispensable to lay a network of roads and highways to provide enabling environment for promoting business and trade.
He said Pakistan’s index of progress is moving fast on an upward trajectory and that the country aims at laying the foundation of its infrastructure on a solid base by 2025.
The Prime Minister said the project of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor is progressing ahead with success.
He said Pakistan will host BRICS committees meetings in future.
