ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan met with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif here on Tuesday.
During the meeting, Nisar said he had no grievances with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif or the party (PML-N), sources revealed to media.
Chaudhary Nisar said media reports about the grievances were based on rumours.
Nisar added he could not consider parting ways with party at this stage of his political career.
It is reported that Prime Minister Nawaz Sahrif said to the interior minister that their political relationship was even older than that of his (PM Nawaz’s) relationship with Shahbaz Sharif.
The prime minister asked Nisar to contact him whenever there was any complaint.
There are major challenges being faced by the country and minor issues should be ignored, the prime minister told Nisar.
The meeting was also attended by Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid.
