ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Pervez Rashid said Pakistan Muslim League-N accepts the decision of the tribunal’s decision of ordering re-election in Lahore’s NA-125 constituency.
“However, we do have our reservations in connection with this decision,” Pervez Rashid said at a press conference, hours after the issuance of judgment by the Election Tribal Faisalabad.
The Information Minister said PML-N will decide whether or not to challenge the tribunal’s verdict in the Supreme Court.
Khawaja Saad Rafique of PML-N had been declared the winner in NA-125 after the 2013 general elections. The result was later challenged by his contender Hamid Khan of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
