KARACHI–An anti-terrorism court on Tuesday sentenced five individuals to 25 years of collective imprisonment each, under various sections of the Pakistan Penal Code, including section 353.
The convicts – whose names are Irfan alias ‘unit in-charge’, Shahabuddin, Shehzad, Farhan alias Faisal, and Naseer alias DSP – are guilty of setting a police mobile on fire and shooting at policemen in 2010 in Shah Faisal Colony.
Investigators claim the convicts are affiliated with a political party.
