RAWALPINDI–Afghanistan’s Chief of General Staff General Sher Muhammad Karimi on Friday visited General Headquarters (GHQ) Rawalpindi and met Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Afghan Chief of General Staff was presented with guard of honour on his arrival whereas he also laid a floral wreath and offered Fateha at Yadgar-e-Shuhada.
General Sher Muhammad Karimi discussed security situation of the region especially Afghanistan with General Raheel Sharif and exchanged views on promoting cooperation in defense and training areas.
General Sher Muhammad Kareemi will also attend the Kakul passing out parade as chief guest. As per sources, six Afghan cadets are under training in Kakul academy.
