ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday reserved its decision in a plea filed by former Wing Commander Kamra Muhammad Aamir, challenging his court-martial after an attack on Kamra Base in 2012.
Justice Aamir Farooq took up hearing of the case here.
The counsel for the petitioner, Inam ur Rahim apprised the court that his client was held responsible for negligence during attack on Kamra Base and faced court-martial in 2012.
Later, Muhammad Aamir was transferred to Karachi from Lahore, after which other 33 officers were promoted by the concerned authority, he informed.
He argued that one officer could not be punished for negligence in such matter and IHC also has given a verdict in this regard.
He prayed the court to issue orders to cancel the court-martial of his client.
After hearing the arguments, the court reserve its decision and adjourned hearing of the case.
