ISLAMABAD: – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has strongly condemned and expressed grief over the bomb blasts in Lahore, the PM office said Sunday.
Nawaz Sharif said his government is committed the resolve of the government to eradicate terrorism and extremism from the country.
He asked all provincial governments to beef up security and take all possible measures to safeguard life and property of the people, a statement from the PM office said.
The Prime Minister also Sharif sought report into the incident and extended condolences to the families of those who lost their lives.
He directed for provision of best medical facilities to the injured.
Political and religious leaders strongly condemned the brutal attacks and termed the act as un-Islamic and inhuman.
The 2018 Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) annual conference is scheduled for April 8 to 11 in Boao, Hainan Province. The forum will be themed "An Open and Innovative Asia for a World of Greater Prosperity."
