ISLAMABAD: Water inflow in all rivers has improved significantly and on Thursday stood at 94,741 cusecs against the outflow of 102,735 cusecs.
According to the data released by the Indus River System Authority (IRSA) that water inflow in Indus at Tarbela was recorded as 17,900 cusecs against the outflow of 15,000 cusecs.
Water level in the Indus River at Tarbela Dam was 1439.17 feet, which was 59.17 feet higher than its dead level 1380 feet.
Similarly, water inflow in River Jhelum at Mangla was recorded as 32,511 cusecs against outflow of 43,365 cusecs.
The water level in the Jhelum River at Mangla Dam was 1088.75 feet, which was 48.75 feet higher than its dead level of 1040 feet.
The release of water at Kalabagh, Taunsa and Sukkur was recorded as 41,336, 62,677 and 102,562 cusecs respectively.
Moreover, water inflow in the river Kabul at Nowshera was recorded as 21,000 cusecs and in the Chenab at Marala stood at 23,370 cusecs.
